Krista Meserve ’18 – Projects on the side

Week three of summer research and us researchers on Team Gerdon are going strong. A lot of exciting experiments are being carried out and new equipments are being constructed by the researchers each day. I have created a plan of experiments to carry out this summer, but have to wait for the plate reader instrument to be fixed. In the mean time, I have started a side project to (hopefully) confirm that our DNA aptamers are inside the hydroxyapatite crystals!...

The semester ends, the summer begins

The research group ended the semester very strong with excellent Distinction presentations by Keith and Aimee and a great last group meeting. I’d like to thank everyone for their hard work this semester. I’m looking forward to the new group and new leaders helping to take charge of the lab this summer (Katerina and Jack!).
