Everyone’s been very busy lately in the Gerdon research team. Lately the nanoparticle side of the team has been doing quite a bit of synthesis. Hopefully soon we’ll be able to get TEM images so that we can characterize and calculate sizes for these gold nanoparticles. These images show the initial gold chloride (auric acid) and two reduction steps that take place in the nanoparticle synthesis.
