Summer research is off to a great start with a talented and dedicated group of students. Hailey, Kristy, and Donalissa are leading the way as rising seniors. Juan and Marissa are learning the ropes but are moving quickly as rising juniors. We’re looking forward to having an area high school teacher join us later this summer too.
A great way to kick off the summer was to gather all researchers in Chemistry & Physics for a wonderful lunch followed by a team-building contest. The challenge was to build the best paper airplane…..using old posters from past ACS conferences. Thank you and sorry to those wonderful alumni who unknowingly donated their posters to this effort! Congrats to Juan and Dr. Price for building the winning poster!
