After a long and hard semester, Kristy is excited to spend more time in lab running experiments! Adding new lab techniques under her belt one by one! Most recently synthesizing gold nanoparticles as a part of her side project to later be used in future projects. She has been familiarizing herself with different instruments to understand their use and how it can help us in analysis. Carefully wrapping up some collagen experiments for the collagen paper, she is excited to brainstorm and start more projects! She also can’t wait to share more GRAB Lab memories both in and outside of lab!
