As the busy semester came to an end, Juan was excited to start working in the lab for the summer. This is his first time working in the lab ever! As his journey continues this summer working with Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM), Juan has learned the ups and downs of research. Different set-ups have been explored to improve the outcomes of his experiments, and alternative set-ups are still being explored! In light of being his first time working in the lab, he has kept himself busy and even has a side experiment: 7 Day Mineralization with QCM. Juan looks forward to what the rest of the summer has in store for him!
