It is amazing to see students and faculty back to work in summer research! The distractions of a full set of courses during the semester are gone and now is the time for students to immerse themselves in research projects. Students can eat, sleep, drink, and dream research! But, then take a nice walk around the Fens to clear your head, reflect on the results, and try it again. We’re excited for all that Amanda, Rylie, Julia, Luz, and Grace will get to do this summer. Stay tuned for updates on our NSF-funded biomineralization work and for info on a new course development projects for forensics using GC-MS and SPME.
Finally, how else to start the summer than with Tasty Burger take-out on the quad?! The tater tots were delicious.
