Ann-Lee is diving head first into her academic, research, and professional endeavors! Amongst her classes, she’s excited to continue her Instrumental Analysis course to learn more skills that can translate well into her research. Conducting research over the past two summers has opened up opportunities such as the MIT ACCESS program, that will give a glimpse of life as a chemistry graduate student. There, she’ll be able to network and leave with MANY questions answered. The next steps for nanoparticle research includes exploring DNA aptamer affinity, to get a better idea of how they interact with calcium phosphate mineral. She hopes to continue with a smooth sailing junior year!
